For us readerly types, tea seems to be the perfect addition to a great book. Red Leaf Tea recently gave away some of their wonderful African Summer tea here at carp(e) libris reviews, and they enjoyed your response to their teas. Today they’d love to give away some more! Your input means a lot to them – for that reason, this time there will be two winners. Red Leaf Tea wants your ideas and suggestions for improving their online store. As usual, a winner will be selected randomly, but Red Leaf Tea will select the best suggestion as the second winner. Both winners will receive any tea of their choice, up to a $15 value.
Also for carp(e) libris reviews readers, Red Leaf Tea is offering us all a 20% off coupon code for the first 10 people who use this coupon code: carp(e)libris.

I love green tea. My suggestion would be for them to carry Fair Trade teas.

I think that you should also list other categories for the teas such as Dessert Teas, Breakfast Teas, etc. Sometimes I prefer to search by that type rather than the type of tea (Red, Green, etc). Also, I agree that you should include more pictures of brewed tea.
Here’s my follow-up entry for the 2nd day! Thank you!
Nice clean site, I liked that you could see a list of all the products on the home page and liked the Free Shipping on ANY order, nice promotion!
I want to try the Tazo’s Vanilla & Apricot White Tea christina suggested.
Well – I’m from England – and naturally, enjoy a good cup of tea. Having done webdesign myself and love to shop on line, I would prefer to see the site more colorful/tasteful/classier-looking. Just my initial thoughts.
Please count me in again.
I love the fresh, clean, crisp look of Red Leaf Tea, it definately makes me want to have a good ol’ pot of tea! I’d like to see suggested finger foods, snacks, that would be best with each tea.. You know how you have certain wines that are good with certain foods? Maybe they could sell sets that come with treats of this type? Have “Tea Party” packages!

The tea look delicious. I love that you can actually see pieces of dried ginger and peach in The Ginger Peach Black Tea.

I love tea! I think it would be great to offer tea pots on the website.

i think you should add a “Tea for One” cup/pot set. it’s like a pot with a cup underneath it suitable for use by one person. those are really hard to find!
i just subscribed.
I really like honey in my tea, but thanks to allergies I try to stick with local honey. Maybe you could provide links to places to get local honey for all 50 states (and maybe those places would recirocate with a link to your site).
That’s really all I could think of – the site is fast and well organized.
Entering again today.
I just subscribed via e-mail. The teas look great!!
I found the website to be well organized and easy to use. But a couple of cosmetic suggestions: The main page has too much green especially the light green around the outside. I like all the pictures if the tea plants but so much green makes it bland looking.
I would ask them if they offer Iced Tea.

I think it would be great if you added how to prepare each sort of tea and maybe a bit about the historical uses of the different sorts.
I love tea and drink several cups a day. I would love to see suggestions for teas for different times of the day.
Keep the free shipping offer – and samplers/gift packs sound great too!
I think the front page of the site could be spiced up a little. more exciting font, pictures, colors etc..
Lovely site! I have always hestitated buying loose tea because I am unsure as to exactly how to use it! Maybe a description on how to use loose tea, health benefits, etc. would be helpful! Thank you!

I’m a Tea Granny & a Subcriber.
I like the layout of the website. Very user friendly.
I would like to see more of a selection of 100% organic teas.
Very nice sire, easy to move through it but I would like to know more about the suppliers of the teas. I support free trade and would like to know that the products I buy are supplied by socially conscious companies and sub companies
I never had red tea. So therefore, I would love the Chocolate Chai flavored.

I bought this wonderful iced tea maker that looks like a normal jug but has a removable section where you put your loose leaf tea…makes perfect iced tea everytime…you should offer it on your site.
Your teas are very pleasing to the eye as well as the palate!
This is a follow up entry.
I will also say that Red Leaf Teas have a very interesting variety of delicious sounding teas!

I love this tea
tea would be wonderful.
I would suggest an option in which the customer can make their own selection of tea that could go into a sampler box.
I’d be interested in more information on the origins of your tea . . . as I became hooked on Red Tea while in Africa, its South African origin, and fair trade [??] is of interest to me, as I imagine it would be to others.

I thought the website was well-designed and very easy to navigate. I appreciated the descriptions and the customer reviews. Please keep the “free shipping” service. Suggestions would include: (1)for us simple folk, describe what the health benefits actually are instead of simply alluding to them in the descriptions; (2)do away with the 3 distracting pictures under the larger photo and use buttons that tell info such as what would be a great accompaniment to that tea; if there is a best time of the day to enjoy it; health benefits; suggestions for using it for a recipe; etc.
Good luck to all!
aahhh….the season for tea.
